About the job

You have probably read similar postings that, among other things, highlight a house in full development, a focus on the pedagogical curriculum and competence development, high well-being among both children and adults, good facilities, etc.

All of this we can fortunately also say yes to, but where we distinguish ourselves is by being a newer children's house where you have the opportunity to help build the foundation for the children's well-being, learning, development and formation as well as for the house's culture, collaboration and framework.

We at Børnehuset Løvstikken have new, wonderful facilities, including plenty of space, a shared motor skills room and lovely outdoor areas, and we are located in scenic surroundings that we use and enjoy in daily life.

We are looking for an educator who

Why you should choose us

Børnehuset Løvstikken is a newer department in Nordbyernes day care, which for the first time opened its doors to new children and families in a satellite in December 2020. We moved on October 25, 2021 into our brand-new children's house in Nye in Aarhus N.

At the moment we have 67 children in the kindergarten, distributed across 3 groups and 48 children in the nursery distributed across 4 groups. We are growing gradually in step with population movement to the area.

We will, for now, in the longer term become Aarhus Municipality's largest day institution.

Maybe you have some doubts about Løvstikken's future size? We actively create smaller and more manageable frames for the children and have a strong focus on creating "the close in the large", and we look forward to using your professionalism with this goal in mind. The house is for example divided into four clusters; two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Each group will eventually consist of three child groups and have a shared area available.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment terms will be according to the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination takes place after negotiation with the negotiating professional organization based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement which can form the basis for salary determination

Weekly working hours: 37 hours

There will be obtained a child care and criminal record certificate and employment is subject to the condition that the certificates do not show that you are unfit/unsuitable for the position. You can read more here about how we process your information here .
