Educator - with knowledge of Cross for Albertslund Youth Center

That makes Albertslund Municipality a good place to work. Right now Albertslund Youth Center is looking for an educator for our school provision at Base Camp – with knowledge of Cross.

As an educator with us you will partly be attached to Base Camp's school provision, which is a middle form. Here you will be in a team with a teacher, where you together will manage teaching for about 8 students in the upper secondary. Your tasks in the school provision will include supporting teaching creatively with student activities within cross, movement and cooking.

Furthermore you as an educator in the after-school club and youth club will use motocross and workshop activities as part of your pedagogical efforts for children and young people. Here you will be tasked with maintaining the cross bikes together with the youths. Also to be with the youths when they train and race.

The position totals 37 hours per week. Working hours will be from 8:15 – 14:00 three days a week, one day from 8:15 – 18:00 and one day from 8:15 – 21:00. There will be occasional races in the cross department on weekends during the year.

Salary and employment terms

Salary placement is negotiated between the municipality and the negotiating authorized organization. It is part of Albertslund Municipality's recruitment policy to promote diversity and equality.

It is a condition for your employment in Albertslund Municipality that you have a valid work and residence permit. When employed, criminal record and safeguarding certificates are obtained. Albertslund Municipality strongly supports full-time work in accordance with the Tripartite Agreement on Wages and Working Conditions, and the municipality therefore hires predominantly at 37 hours.

Albertslund Municipality has smoke-free working time.
