About the position

As an educator, you will be an important part of everyday life in a fixed kindergarten room, where you together with your colleagues create safe and developmentally supportive environments for the children.

You will have the opportunity to use your pedagogical competencies close to the children and help support their well-being, development and participation in the community. We have an eye for each child's needs and work with early intervention when a child needs extra support.

It is an advantage if you have experience with children and families in vulnerable positions. Experience with this target group is a plus, but the most important is that you are curious, engaged and eager to make a difference for all children and families.

Our pedagogical approach is based on ICDP (International Child Development Programme) , where the relationship between child and adult is central. As part of your employment in Glostrup Municipality you will receive an ICDP course over six months.

We are looking for an educator who

• Is a trained educator and passionate about working with children
• Is warm, present, empathetic and caring
• Has an affirmative and relationally competent approach - both towards children, parents and colleagues.
• Has experience with or interest in children and families in vulnerable positions and/or children with special needs
• Can create good frameworks for play, learning and community
• Is curious about the children's perspectives and needs
• Wants professional development and sparring.

Practical information

The position is 35-37 hours per week with start date by agreement.

Salary and employment terms are according to the applicable collective agreement.
