Educators for Tønder District School - Upper Secondary School

We need more staff in both our general classes and in our special department, and therefore we are seeking two pedagogues or pedagogical assistants as soon as possible. One of the positions is permanent, and the other is fixed-term until summer 2027.

Common to both areas is that you shall support students with special support needs and an adapted learning environment. The positions involve engagement in activities promoting well-being and learning, as well as the ability to adapt learning paths for individual students and/or groups with special needs. You will have responsibility for planning and implementing targeted courses/activities and daily pedagogical support for the students.

You may have a special education qualification and experience in the special education field, but it is not a requirement. The most important is that you thrive with children facing challenges, and you can and want to contribute to developing and lifting them.

Tønder District School – Upper Secondary School is a branch school in Tønder District with about 300 students across 7th–9th grade. The school is located in the town of Tønder close to the center.

Over the past three years we have been working on a school development project "Participation opportunities for everyone". The project continues with an academic focus on Danish and mathematics.
