We are looking for educators for Strib Children's House – we conduct ongoing recruitment interviews.

About us

Strib Children's House consists of two day-care institutions – Bulderby and Kastanieborgen – which share management, a board and a common pedagogical direction. Both houses are located in nature's beautiful surroundings close to both forest and beach in Strib near Middelfart.

In Kastanieborgen we have 48 nursery children and 70 kindergarten children, while Bulderby houses 28 nursery children and 80 kindergarten children.

Based on Middelfart Municipality's vision 'From Middelfart Child to World Citizen' we strive to create wholehearted days, where children are met with presence, development and strong communities.

We are looking for you who

You are a trained pedagogue and have experience and knowledge about – or an interest in – well-being and learning environments for children aged 0–6 years. You are motivated to work with children's play and actively participate in the children's play culture as a present and guiding adult.

• Are professionally engaged and curious about developing pedagogical practice
• Can work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
• Are reflective and open to sparring and feedback
• Place high importance on parent collaboration and interdisciplinary cooperation
• Have a sense for documentation and evaluation as part of the pedagogical work

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, and a child attendance certificate is obtained.

Start date: As soon as possible or 1 January 2027

Salary placement is in accordance with the collective agreement for pedagogues at day-care institutions, school holiday programs, clubs etc., our pre-agreements and possibly individual supplements based on special competences, knowledge or experience.

The position's salary range as a pedagogue will be from 33,274.23 DKK to 39,458.24 DKK, depending on the candidate's seniority, continuing education and personal competences.

Salary range is monthly pay excluding pension.
