Pilehaveskolen is seeking engaged pedagogues who are passionate about making a difference for students with special needs. We are looking for pedagogues for full-time positions of 37 hours with start on January 1, 2027, of which one position is a maternity leave cover.

At Pilehaveskolen you will have the opportunity to work with students with special needs in the school part and at the same time contribute to creating an attractive, developing and exciting leisure-time offer in our after-school program (SFO). We offer a meaningful job at a special school with a diverse student group from kindergarten to 10th grade, where relationships, well-being and development are at the center.

The positions are among other things connected to our school starter class with three students, where there is a special focus on creating safe frameworks, supporting students' learning and development, and collaborating closely with both colleagues and families.

Who are we Pilehaveskolen is Assens Municipality's special school for students with general learning difficulties. We offer teaching at all levels from kindergarten to 10th grade, as well as SFO before and after school and on school-closed days. As a pedagogue at Pilehaveskolen you will be an important part of both the school and leisure-time offerings.

Our student group is diverse and characterized by great variation in relation to cognitive development, communicative skills, practical abilities, as well as social and emotional needs. This places high demands on staff professionalism, relationship skills, flexibility, and the ability to create safe and developmental learning environments.

At Pilehaveskolen we work from a shared fundamental view, where we see the student in a holistic perspective. We believe that all students have development potential, and we work purposefully so that our students develop life skills and competencies to manage their own lives as best as possible.

Who are you You are a trained pedagogue and eager to participate in close and binding collaboration with the school's other staff on the students' well-being, development and learning.

It is essential that you can translate your professional knowledge into present relationships, meaningful learning processes and activities that support the students' development and participation opportunities. You see possibilities rather than limitations and are motivated to create small and large success experiences together with the students.

In addition we place emphasis on the fact that you

• have an interest in and preferably experience with the special education field, for example within Low Arousal, neuroaffective developmental psychology or autism pedagogy
• have strong relationship skills and understand the importance of trusting relationships in working with students with special needs
• can work cross-disciplinary and contribute actively to professional collaboration with colleagues, parents and external partners
• are professionally curious, reflective and proud of your profession
• are happy to bring particular competencies or interests into play, e.g., within pedagogical massage, music, sport, movement, sensory-motor development, wellness or children’s yoga

Salary and employment terms Employment is carried out in accordance with applicable collective agreement and based on the principles of local pay formation. When employed, a criminal record and a child protection clearance will be requested.
