About the job

Do you have a craft/technical background? And do you like maintaining all the interior of buildings? Then you might be the new colleague we are missing.

We are looking for a tradesperson who has some years of experience in the trade, and who can handle 'a bit of everything' – including replacing a toilet and fixing a door. It is not necessarily decisive which craft background you have. We are looking for a colleague who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves, and you take pride in taking good care of the old buildings that are home and daily life for the elderly Copenhageners who live in our nursing homes.

During a day you will meet many different people – e.g., during move-in and move-out inspections – so it is important that you are approachable, service-minded and good at communicating. We drive between tasks, so you must have a driver's license.

Text or call the head of Technical Service Phillip Vindahl Kjob at 26 75 42 54, if you want to hear more about the position, the different tasks and perhaps come by for an informal chat.

We offer

You will become part of a team of skilled and fun colleagues, who are mixed in gender and age, and who work with building operation and facility management for the City of Copenhagen’s Health and Care Administration – primarily in Bystævneparken in Brønshøj and De Gamles By in Indre Nørrebro. We have different trades backgrounds, are good at communicating and collaborating, and we have a strong sense of camaraderie.

We take pride in delivering good service – some days are busy, but most of the time we manage everything including lunch and a cup of coffee with colleagues. We are also good at welcoming new colleagues. When you start, you will receive on-the-job training from one of our current service technicians, so you are well prepared when you go out on tasks.

Kort om dig

We are looking for you who work systematically with a meticulous sense of quality. You are both proactive, flexible and ready to solve the tasks that come in. You work and solve most tasks independently, so you must be good at planning and scheduling your time and your tasks, and you take pride in delivering good service. It is also important that, like the rest of the team, you are receptive to input for your work and you receive constructive feedback with a good sense of humor. We are always ready for a joke, a cheeky remark and a good laugh – we hope you are too.

Employment terms

The position is a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week during daytime on weekdays and with on-call duty for one week per month, which you will of course be well compensated for.

We would like to hire you from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement, which among other things includes a pension scheme and paid lunch. References will be sought as part of the recruitment process.

If you have previously been employed by the City of Copenhagen, also applies

If you are considered for a position in a municipal unit, we will check whether you have been dismissed or expelled from the municipality within the last three years and share relevant information with the hiring manager. It may also include information about criminal conduct leading to dismissal from the City of Copenhagen, information about substance abuse such as a positive alcohol test, or information about medical history that could be significant for a new employment in the municipality. This does not apply to employment at self-governing nursing homes. Read more about reference checks here .
