Ellevang School is seeking a teacher for mathematics, physics/chemistry, natural science, and possibly physical education in a special class and in an elite sports class

Ellevang School is a public school located in Vejlby-Risskov with about 860 pupils and around 110 staff. The school is located in Vejlby-Risskov close to the town, forest and beach. Ellevang School is one of two schools in Aarhus that offer talented athletes the opportunity to combine schooling and training. It is based on a collaboration with Elite Sports Academy Aarhus (ESAA) and Team Denmark's concept for sports schools.

The collaboration aims to ensure that talents within a wide range of sports have the opportunity to combine elite training and schooling in a socially and sport-science appropriate way. The goal is to give young people the best possible sports development opportunities while they can keep up with their schoolwork and achieve academic results.

In ESAA classes, students have morning training two mornings per week in their respective sports. In addition, students have a full timetable with the rest of the compulsory school subjects except for the local elective subjects.

Ellevang School also has general classes, special classes and reception classes. The school's special classes are for children with general learning difficulties.

We are looking for a teacher who can take care of the following

• Physics/Chemistry in both ESAA classes in the 8th grade
• Mathematics, Physics/Chemistry, Science and possibly Physical Education in a special class for 7th-8th grade
• Other subjects by agreement

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary determination takes place after negotiations with the bargaining authorized trade union based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement which can form the basis for salary setting

Weekly hours: 37

This is a permanent position.
