Pilegårdsskolen is looking for a technical service assistant from 1 October 2026. The position is part-time - 31 hours per week.

As a technical service assistant you, together with the team, consisting of 2 service assistants and 1 service manager, will have the main task of ensuring that the school's premises are in order. This provides a variety of tasks, including performing small repairs, service work on buildings and furnishings, equipment, setting up and moving furniture, maintenance of the school's indoor and outdoor areas, waste management - in general assisting with solving the school's technical and practical tasks.

In addition, the technical service staff close down other schools in the municipality.

We would like you to have a craft/trade qualification and be able to thrive in a dynamic, busy environment with many different staff groups, external collaborators, and a lot of lovely children with very different expectations and needs.

Pilegårdsskolen is one of 7 public schools in Tårnby Municipality. We are about 90 teachers and 1150 pupils in grades 0-9.

We are looking for a colleague who has good craftsmanship, preferably trained. You should enjoy practical work. The work takes place alternating between day and evening shifts as well as between 1 and 2 weekend shifts per month. The work schedule is arranged together with the service manager. It is necessary that you have a driver’s license.

We expect that, in addition to good physical condition, you are service-minded, responsible, able to work independently, have a sense of order, an overview, technical flair, a good mood and not least the ability and willingness to interact with children.

Job tasks

The job tasks are many and varied, and the following can be mentioned

• Daily supervision of the school
• Daily service work on buildings and furnishings, equipment, setting up and moving furniture
• Maintenance and minor craft repairs
• Errand driving - driving license category B and own car required.

Salary and employment terms

The appointment is made in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with FOA after negotiation.

The municipality's recruitment policy implies that references from former and current workplaces are collected upon appointment. In addition, upon employment, a criminal record certificate must be presented and a child-safeguarding certificate must be obtained - to be deleted if not applicable.
