Employee wanted for a lovely 6-year-old boy near Hinnerup

We are looking for a caring, present and engaged relief worker for a lovely 6-year-old boy who lives with his parents and siblings in the area around Hinnerup.

The boy has Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, which causes significant delay in his motor and language development. He attends a special school and does not have verbal speech. He primarily communicates through sounds and sign language.

In the home, English is spoken, so it is an advantage if you can communicate in English.

About the task

The task primarily consists of being with the boy and creating a safe, cozy and active afternoon, where activities are adapted to his needs and daily form.

He can walk by himself but needs light guidance and support. For longer outings he uses a wheelchair.

Outdoor activities can include

• Walks at the playground in the local area
• Swing
• Trampoline
• Short walks and other activities that match his level

Indoor activities can include

• Playing on a small trampoline
• Playing with cars and Duplo
• Singing and making music
• Other calm and cozy games

The most important thing is that you want to be present with him and meet him where he is.

Working hours

The position is for 15 hours per month .

The working hours will be

• Every other Sunday
• Weekdays 15.00–18.00 , afternoons to be arranged with the family

There is a possibility that the working hours can be adjusted by mutual agreement.
