Are you motivated by creating healthy, energy-efficient and sustainable buildings – and would you like to shape the professional development direction? Then you might be the one we are looking for as an energy and indoor climate engineer with technical leadership across Sweco.
At Sweco you will have the opportunity to work on exciting and varied projects where energy, indoor climate and sustainability are central elements. At the same time, you will play an important role in developing our professionalism, services and market position within energy and indoor climate – both internally at Sweco and in dialogue with our customers.
Professional development, projects and customers
You will become part of a strong professional environment where we work across the organization and help our customers create attractive, well-functioning and future-proof buildings.
Your tasks will span large, complex construction projects and smaller assignments for both public and private clients. We work across most sectors and with both new construction and renovations. The portfolio includes, among others, residences, schools, hospitals and other institutions.
You will be involved in all phases of the construction process – from early analyses and design to construction, supervision, follow-up and handover of the finished building.
As an energy and indoor climate engineer and technical lead you will, among other things
- Drive the professional development within energy and indoor climate across Sweco.
- Be a professional sparring partner for colleagues, project managers and departments both locally and nationally.
- Develop, qualify and disseminate methods, tools and concepts within energy and indoor climate.
- Contribute to the design of technical installations in connection with new construction and renovation.
- Manage energy and indoor climate calculations, analyses and assessments.
- Act as the project lead on larger and smaller projects with responsibility for time, budget and quality in collaboration with the project manager.
- Ensure a high and uniform professional level in the projects.
- Contribute to bids, customer dialogue and development of new tasks.
- Make Sweco’s energy and indoor climate services visible – both internally at Sweco and externally to customers and partners.
- Identify new market opportunities and translate customer needs into concrete solutions and services.
- Convey your professional expertise clearly and inspiringly through presentations, sparring and knowledge sharing.
Professionally strong with commercial outlook
We are looking for someone with a strong professional profile within energy and indoor climate, who is motivated to achieve results through collaboration, relationships and business development.
You have sharp communication and collaboration skills and can build trust with customers, partners and colleagues. You can dive into technical issues, but also lift your eyes to see how the professionalism can be translated into value for the customer and for Sweco.
You thrive in an environment with many different tasks, high pace and cross-disciplinary cooperation – and you look forward to taking responsibility for both your own and the organization’s development.
Additionally, we imagine that you
- Have a diploma engineer, civil engineer or an equivalent technical education.
- Have at least five years of experience with energy and indoor climate.
- Have a strong technical understanding of the link between energy, indoor climate, installations and the building’s architecture.
- Have experience with or interest in professional leadership, development and knowledge sharing.
- Want to engage in customer dialogue, bid work and sale of advisory services.
- Work in a structured way and take responsibility for quality, economy and progress.
- Are a constructive and engaged collaborator with a positive mindset.
A role with influence
As a technical lead you will have a central role in strengthening Sweco’s position within energy and indoor climate. You will have the opportunity to shape our professional direction, develop our services and help create visible results in both projects and the organization.
You will become part of a professionally strong and engaged environment where we prioritize collaboration, development and well-being. We have high ambitions for our work, but we also take care of each other and strive for a good balance between work life and leisure.
