Then you may be our new colleague in the Coordination Section at the Royal Danish Air Force's Administrative Community.

About us

The Royal Danish Air Force Administrative Community (FAF) is a department under the Operations Support Wing. The administrative community is responsible for delivering administrative support and HR services to the Air Force authorities, including the management of all permanently employed personnel as well as students.

FAF consists of a central part in Karup, called the Coordination Section, which is located together with the Operations Support Wing. In addition, we have our three decentralized partner units, located at the air bases in Aalborg, Skalstrup and Skrydstrup respectively.

The Coordination Section, of which you will become a part, consists of a management and two elements; a Policy and Coordination element and the Administration element.

Your position is placed in the Administration element’s working hours and travel team, which among other things handles the administration of Travel and Working Time for all operational authorities in the Royal Danish Air Force.

Our motto is “Effect through support,” which is delivered by our subject matter experts every day, with the customer at the center and quality at the forefront. With us, you will experience an informal tone based on mutual respect and good humor. We want the administrative community to be a good place to work, which is why everyone contributes to a good working environment.

About the position

The positions primarily involve administration of working hours, follow-up, dialogue with managers and leaders, controls and follow-up on statuses, so that each manager has an overview of their employees’ working hours and payouts of various benefits.

Within the travel area it is mainly the creation and settlement of travels that the individual employees have been on. Creating travels also involves booking accommodations (military and civilian), flight tickets, trains and rental cars abroad.

Within the two aforementioned areas there will also be a lot of dialogue and guidance on travel and working time rules with both employees, managers and supervisors. All in accordance with the applicable administrative regulations.

In addition, we expect you to contribute to case handling and solving the Coordination Section’s other tasks.

As the Royal Danish Air Force Administrative Community aims to maximize employee well-being, there will be the possibility of home office days and the possibility to exercise during working hours – either in nature, at the air base, or in our training facilities.

There will be opportunities for continuing education and retraining during the employment.

About you

Since our positions are professionally based, you must have an office education with a specialization in public administration or another relevant office education.

You work engagingly, independently and responsibly within your case area, and you follow your tasks through to the end. You have the ability to solve tasks and maintain an overview in a diverse and exciting everyday life, where you will often have to handle several different tasks, just as you are able to collaborate with people at all levels.

It is desirable that you have experience with SAP, WorkZone, the Office package and knowledge of the Defence, but this is not a requirement.

You thrive in an environment where professionalism, collaboration and short deadlines are a given. You have a sense of order and detail but without losing your overall perspective, customer focus and initiative. We also place emphasis on creativity and the ability to develop the existing.

Employment terms
