The arrangement

The job consists of spending time with a 12-year-old happy and active girl who lives with her mother and older sister in Copenhagen S. The girl has a diagnosis of infantile autism, mental retardation and is nonverbal, but understands short sentences and guidance. During the sessions together, you can go to playgrounds or read books and draw at home.

Who are you?

You have an interest in children and really enjoy playing and being cozy with them. As a person you are also empathetic, patient and respectful of others. These qualities help you to naturally fit into a home with humility and situational awareness.

The girl can understand Chinese, Danish and English. It is advantageous that you can also English, as communication with the mother will primarily take place in English.

The family also has a large and friendly golden retriever, Lucky.

Employment and shifts

The family has an allocation of 45 hours per month, which the mother primarily wishes to place when she works.

Shifts are agreed with the mother, but as a rule there are two weekends per month, both Saturday and Sunday from 10:00-17:00, and in addition every Tuesday 16:30-21:30.

As an employee of Olivia Denmark you will be covered by the collective agreement with FOA, and are therefore ensured a number of basic terms. You will be paid at wage level 15, which corresponds to a base pay of around 165 DKK per hour, as well as supplements after 17:00 and on weekends.
