Would you like to help operate and further develop EPJ SYD in the Region of Southern Denmark and ensure the best possible experience for our users in the clinic?

For the function area Clinical Production, which consists of 29 colleagues, we are looking for an experienced and goal-oriented EPJ consultant who will participate in the daily work with the booking module in EPJ SYD.

You will become part of a team where there is focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, well-being and joint competence development.

Your tasks

One of your main tasks is to translate complex clinical workflows into effective and value-creating system solutions by analysing needs, configuring functionality and ensuring optimal use of EPJ SYD – including setup and optimization of EPJ SYD Booking with focus on cohesive and smooth patient pathways.

You will join as a professional key player in projects, workshops and cross-cutting collaborations with clinical departments, local IT units and suppliers with focus on configuration, optimization and further development of EPJ SYD, including capacity management, booking templates and workflows related to EPJ SYD Booking.

In addition you will handle testing, quality assurance and bug fixes, provide 3rd level support, conduct analyses, coordinate submissions to suppliers and actively contribute to development and harmonization in collaboration with Region Midtjylland and Region Nordjylland in the Vestdansk IT collaboration.

You will prepare and maintain targeted teaching materials, guides and process descriptions as well as support competence development in the clinic to ensure correct and effective use of EPJ SYD.

In the long term there may be other tasks depending on interest and competences, e.g., handling of the regional EPJ SYD support.

Your background

There are many entry paths to the position. Perhaps you have a clinical background, experience with EPJ SYD Booking, technical knowledge or an interest in gaining insight into the clinical workflows and EPJ SYD as well as other IT systems in the functional area.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in a larger political organization and can communicate with many stakeholders at different levels in the organization as well as with suppliers.

Your personal qualifications

  • You work independently, are analytical, process- and result-oriented
  • You thrive with a large contact surface and are a skilled communicator
  • You are able to convey technical issues to different professional groups
  • You thrive in a daily life characterized by routine tasks, which are at the same time changing and often require you to familiarize yourself with new material.

Technical flair and experience with implementation, operation and maintenance of large, complex IT systems is an advantage.

We offer
