About the job

Forum for Men's Health seeking a policy and analysis intern

Are you keen to work at the intersection of knowledge, policy and practice? Forum for Men's Health is looking for an intern who will help investigate how we can create better health and well-being for men – and how knowledge can be translated into political agendas and concrete recommendations.

As an intern you will be part of our work with political advocacy, analysis and knowledge development. You will have the opportunity to contribute with research, analyses and written products.

The tasks will be tailored to your academic profile, and you will have independent tasks with opportunities for sparring along the way.

Your tasks will include

  • Monitor the political agenda and identify relevant initiatives regarding men’s health and equality
  • Contribute to the development of political recommendations and proposals for concrete actions
  • Map relevant stakeholders as well as research possible collaborations
  • Support dialogue and prepare meetings with politicians (municipal, regional and national)
  • Collect and process knowledge, including surveys and statistics on men’s health and well-being
  • Prepare notes, analyses or similar that provide an overview of complex issues
  • Practical tasks in everyday work

About you

We imagine that you

  • Are a student in a relevant higher education program, e.g., political science, sociology or public health
  • Are interested in health, equality and inequality – and have a basic knowledge of policy and legislation
  • Are good at researching, creating an overview and translating information into clear points
  • Enjoy writing and communicating professional material in a precise and understandable way
  • It is an advantage if you have experience with statistics/quantitative analysis

But most of all we are looking for you if you are curious and want to be part of a friendly colleagues’ community, where there is room for professional depth and chats at the office.

About us

Practical

  • The internship period is unpaid and runs from February 1 to July 1. You must be able to obtain academic credit for the internship.
  • We expect you to be able to devote at least 30 hours per week during the internship period, but of course we are flexible regarding tasks and exams along the way.
  • We have an office at Willemoesgade 80, 2100 Copenhagen Ø
  • Submit your application no later than October 30, 2026 via the link on the page.
  • Interviews will be held in week 45.
