Experienced VAT and Audit Associate for the VAT Department in Large Companies

Broad responsibilities within VAT and payroll tax

In the Store Selskaber 04 – VAT and Payroll Tax office we review the settlements of VAT and/or payroll tax for the largest companies to ensure correct settlement - neither too little nor too much. Your work will primarily consist of:

• Audit large companies' VAT and payroll tax declarations together with your colleagues
• Advise large companies about their VAT and payroll tax.

We work project-oriented, where everyone in the projects contributes with knowledge, experience and input in relation to the audits we initiate. In our sub-projects we focus on specific industries or specific issues.

We typically work in teams. That means that we are several (minimum 2) working on the same case. You will therefore constantly have sparring and input on the tasks you perform in a given case.

We are one of three offices in Store Selskaber that work with VAT and payroll tax. The other two offices are located in Copenhagen and Odense. There is close collaboration between the three offices, and many tasks are carried out across these, just as we often meet with colleagues from the other offices.

Professionally strong in VAT and payroll taxes and/or accounting

You have a higher education such as cand.merc.aud., cand.merc.jur., HD-R, tax auditor, professional bachelor in tax, master in VAT or similar. Ideally you have experience with VAT and payroll tax or experience with auditing. It is important that you have a methodical approach to your work as well as the desire and the competencies to work independently as well as in teams. You will become part of a strong professional team that will give you further professional ballast.

We expect to hold the first round of interviews in week 47. We have the opportunity to hold some interviews after 16:00. There may be a logical test and a personality analysis in the recruitment process. Prior to employment a criminal record check and references will be obtained.

Start date on February 1, 2027 - or by agreement.

You will be employed under the applicable collective agreement for academics in the state (AC) or the collective agreement for Administrative Officers, etc. (DTS) in the Ministry of Taxation and Growth. You will be employed in the Ministry of Taxation and Growth with its associated institutions.
