About the job
What can you see that others may not?
Become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist at Trianglen Residential Facility
Sometimes good rehabilitation is about training.
Other times it's about finding another path.
About seeing opportunities where others see limitations.
And about understanding that the biggest difference is often created in everyday life – not necessarily in a training room.
That is the professionalism we are looking for.
We are looking for one occupational therapist and one physiotherapist for permanent full-time positions starting January 1, 2027 .
If you want to use your professional skills close to people with acquired brain injury and/or progressive disorders – and at the same time become part of a strong interdisciplinary work community – we would like to hear from you.
Welcome to Trianglen
Trianglen Residential Facility is a residential facility in Hjørring for 12 residents with acquired brain injury and/or progressive disorders .
Residents live in modern apartments on Nordbovej, and our task is to support each individual in living as independent, active and meaningful a life as possible.
The target group is complex. Residents may have physical, cognitive and mental disabilities, and their needs can change over time.
That makes the work challenging. But it also makes it professionally exciting.
At Trianglen you come close to the residents and get the opportunity to see how your professional skills can make a concrete difference in their daily lives.
Your professional expertise must come to life
As an occupational therapist or physiotherapist with us, you do not take on a role where you sit on the sidelines and do assessments that others must put into practice.
You become part of the practice.
You will use your professional skills where life happens – in the resident's apartment, on an outing, around transfers, in daily training or when we together must find a solution to something that does not work.
You will, among other things, work with
- training and maintenance of physical and cognitive functions
- assessment of residents' functional level and development possibilities
- transfers and use of aids
- compensatory solutions and adaptation of everyday life
- personal care and practical tasks
- professional guidance and sparring with colleagues
- participation in residents' active daily and leisure life
- collaboration with relatives, authorities, consultants and other external partners.
We do not expect that you can do everything.
But we expect you to be curious about what can be done.
You will be part of a professional community
At Trianglen we work cross-disciplinary because we believe that different professional backgrounds make us better.
You will become part of a staff group with various educational and experiential backgrounds, where we help each other, challenge each other's perspectives and find solutions together.
We work from a acknowledging, structured and neuro-pedagogical approach , and we emphasize that you can translate theory and professional knowledge into action in the concrete situation.
We prioritize
- professional sparring and reflection
- interdisciplinary collaboration
- theme days and competence development
- relevant continuing and further education
- actively bringing each other's professional skills into play
- a working environment with both professional seriousness and good humor.
Our common core task is
”Professionally and professionally to support the resident's responsibility for and mastery of their own life.”
That task you will help to bring to life in daily life.
We are looking for you if you
- are educated as an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
- want to work with people with complex functional limitations
- can see opportunities rather than limitations
- are professionally curious and dare to bring your professionalism into play
- can work independently and take responsibility
- thrive with interdisciplinary collaboration
- can maintain overview and act professionally qualified in complex situations
- want to be an active part of a good work community
- have a driver's license.
If you have experience with acquired brain injury, neurology or neuro-pedagogy, it is an advantage - but not a requirement.
The most important thing is that you want to work with the target group and can see yourself as an active part of both the residents' daily life and our professional community.
With us you have the opportunity to do more than just practice your field
You will have a workplace where there is room for professional development, reflection and new ideas.
You will have colleagues who want to help each other and want to succeed together.
And you will have the opportunity to put your own professional imprint on how we work with the residents.
We believe that good professionalism and job satisfaction go hand in hand.
You will be part of day, evening and weekend shifts .
Can you see yourself with us?
If so, we would like to hear from you.
If you have questions about the position or would like to hear a little more about everyday life at Trianglen, you are very welcome to contact department manager Eivind Grepperud at phone 41 93 69 00.
