Exciting teaching vacancy with possibility of extension

We are seeking a teacher who is eager to become part of a fantastic boarding school and a lively island community – on beautiful Samsø.

The teaching position is a temporary replacement (full-time) with possibility of extension with teaching in mathematics, English, special educational support and a two-teacher system

We are looking for you who

• Is trained as a teacher and has teaching competence in mathematics and English.
• Wants to work with co-teaching and a two-teacher system.
• Has interest in and experience with special educational support
• Is clear, relationally strong and acknowledging in your approach to young people.
• Can plan differentiated teaching with a focus on the individual student.
• Wants to be an active part of the boarding school life – also outside of teaching.
• Thrives in close collaboration with students, colleagues, parents and external partners.

Your tasks

• Teaching in mathematics and English.
• Teaching in two-teacher classes and co-teaching.
• Contact teacher in close collaboration with a colleague for about 20 students.
• Special educational support courses.
• Planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching.
• Support for students' well-being, learning and participation in the community.
• Collaboration with the school's well-being team, parents and relevant partners.
