At Artelia | Southern Denmark we have many exciting projects in the pipeline, and we are therefore seeking an experienced structural engineer who is passionate about their field and wants to help strengthen our growing team. We are a regional office in growth, and you will have the opportunity to help shape development. Do you want to join?
Your role
We are looking for an engaged and experienced structural engineer with
- Solid experience from the consulting/engineering sector
- Strong collaboration skills and a desire to lead in design
- The ability to be a sparring partner and mentor for younger colleagues
- Interest in staying updated with the latest methods and developments
As part of our structural department you will have the opportunity to influence projects and actively contribute to professional development – both for yourself and for the team.
About us
Artelia has extensive expertise in all types of constructions. We have contributed to notable buildings such as TRÆ in Aarhus, The Blue Planet, Amager Bakke and the Handværkskollegiet in Herning, which recently received 6 hearts in Politiken for its outstanding architecture. In the Region of Southern Denmark we have, for example, been engineers on Woodhub in Odense, which was recently named Building of the Year and similarly has won the prize for Year’s Low-Emission Wooden Building. We work broadly with everything from housing and commercial construction to hospitals and complex special projects.
With us you get
- A daily work life with great variation in project size, type and complexity
- Sparring with some of the industry's most experienced specialists
- A strong professional environment with several certified structural engineers and leading digital solutions
- Opportunity for professional specialization and development – if you are a certified structural engineer, that is a plus, but not a requirement
Room for your career path
In Artelia we have clear career paths and a genuine ambition that every employee should work with what they are passionate about. We see and value individual competences – and you can largely help shape your own role.
We work purposefully to ensure balance between tasks and resources. We take on only tasks we have the capacity for – that said, there is busy work in the industry, and we never lack work.
Job satisfaction and strong team spirit
We mean it when we say that it should be fun to go to work. This applies both in daily life and outside working hours. As an employee with us you can look forward to a culture where community and experiences are a natural part of everyday life. Each year we go on a joint ski trip, as well as an academic study trip to a European capital city, where days are filled with inspiration and professional presentations, while the evenings are spent on enjoyable dinners and social interaction.
In addition, there are a wide range of employee initiatives that Artelia supports. It ranges from culture clubs and knitting groups to e-sports, football, golf, cycling and much more. The most important for us is that we get along well together – both professionally and socially. We know that strong relationships create knowledge sharing, good collaboration and successful projects, and therefore we actively work to cultivate a culture without silos and with a strong team spirit.
