Experienced warehouse worker for a fixed night shift in Odense

Have you arranged your daily life around night work, and do you thrive with responsibility, fixed structures, and a night shift where you are allowed to work independently? Then this could be the right job for you.

For our partner, we are seeking an experienced warehouse worker for a permanent position on the night shift in Odense.

You will play an important role in the nighttime operations. During the night, drivers will come by to exchange trailers, and your task will be to ensure they are loaded correctly and safely with metal products, plates, and longer items.

The work takes place indoors in an enclosed hall, and you will primarily work with 3.5 and 5 ton trucks.

The position suits well for someone who likes to take responsibility for their own tasks and work independently, but who also values contact and collaboration with the drivers and colleagues who keep the operation running at night.

What you will be doing

• Loading trailers with a forklift
• Handling metal products, plates and longer items
• Driving with both 3.5 and 5 ton trucks
• Placement and safe handling of goods
• Preparing trailers for further transport
• Cooperation with the drivers who come through the night
• Ensuring order and an overview of the night’s loadings.

What we value

• You have good experience with forklift driving
• You have a valid forklift certificate
• You are used to handling larger and heavier goods
• You can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks
• You work safely and have respect for both goods and equipment
• You are stable and thrive with fixed night shifts
• You speak and understand Danish
• A relevant education is an advantage, but solid practical experience is also highly valued.

What the company offers

• Fixed night shift Sunday to Thursday from 22:00 to 06:00
• Good pay and night allowance according to the current collective agreement
• Seniority from the first day of work
• Health insurance
• Thorough training in tasks, equipment, and workflows
• An independent job with responsibility
• An active employee association
• A joint grill event at the start of each month
• Good colleagues and proper working conditions.
