About the job

Institute of Economics, Aarhus BSS is seeking external lecturers for teaching tasks in the professional bachelor education (HD), Part 2.

Positions are temporary, and employment normally for three years, possibly with the option of extension.

Work tasks and weekly hours are agreed with the institute prior to each semester. There can be no guarantees of tasks in every semester.

Expected start date 2 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Position contents and professional competences

Teaching assignment takes place in the spring semester in the course “Supply Chain Management” in HD Part 2.

The course description is available here: https://kursuskatalog.au.dk/da/course/139606/Supply-Chain-Management

The course consists of two components. One component is 19 teaching hours, delivered online as pre-recorded videos. The other component consists of 2 online lessons which may include assignments/exercises, cases, Q&A, discussion forums or similar activities, and 7 teaching hours delivered with physical presence on campus in the evenings distributed over 2 occasions during the semester. The position as external lecturer will be to handle the second component with online lessons and physical presence corresponding to about 10 hours of teaching.

The course is offered both in Aarhus and in Herning, and we therefore seek one or two external lecturers who can cover one or both parts. There will be close collaboration with the tenured scientific staff member who has been responsible for the pre-recorded videos. In addition to teaching, exams will have to be conducted, which take place on campus.

The course must be taught in Danish.
