Facilities Service Technician

At Facility Service we are looking for a property service technician as of January 1, 2027 for a full-time position of 37 hours per week. You will become part of a dedicated team in Odense, where we together ensure good conditions for both students and employees.

About the job

As a property service technician you will have a central role in daily operations. You are often the one users meet when something needs fixing, adjusting, or when new solutions are needed.

Your days will rarely be the same, and you will experience a good balance between planned tasks and urgent inquiries. We solve the tasks both independently and in collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups.

Your tasks will include

• Operations and maintenance of buildings and furniture
• Smaller repairs and practical tasks
• Internal relocations as well as setups
• Contact with and ordering of external craftsmen
• Occasional service and administrative tasks, e.g. invoice approvals and service agreements

Who are you?

We would like you to have an education as a property service technician – or another relevant technical background. If you have knowledge of CTS systems, ABA systems and video surveillance, that is an advantage – but not a requirement.

You must be familiar with using IT, as it is part of the daily tools in this role.

Furthermore we would like you to

• have experience with practical operation and maintenance
• work in a structured way, take responsibility and follow your tasks through
• be service-minded and good at dialogue with both students, colleagues and suppliers
• be able to maintain an overview – even when it is busy

About us

In Facility Service we are 46 employees, of which 10 have a workplace at NBA in Odense. We are located at 6 locations, and we consist of property service technicians, janitors, canteen staff, cleaning staff, AV technicians, master builders, building designers as well as management.

We emphasize that everyone is responsible, service-minded and engaged in relation to tasks and collaboration.

Employment

You are employed as of January 1, 2027. Your average weekly working hours will be 37 hours.

The employment is in accordance with Common Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees Organizations – The Public Sector (OAO-S collective agreement) and Circular on organizational agreement for cleaning assistants, sanitizers, skilled workers and certain vocational graduates etc. in the state etc. (3F) . The position is covered by NyLøn.

Your primary place of employment will be Niels Bohrs Allé 1, Odense M, but duties at other UCL locations in Odense, Svendborg, Vejle and Jelling may be considered.
