About the job
Do you want to make a difference? Are you passionate about working with a robust and future-proof drinking water supply and would you like to be part of a dedicated groundwater team? Then this job is absolutely for you.
About the job
We are looking for a colleague to handle tasks within both water supply and groundwater protection. You will get an exciting and meaningful job in a professionally strong, social and collaborative environment.
We are about to develop a new water supply plan, which must be integrated with groundwater-protective measures as well as new legislation regarding pesticides and probably also nitrate. The water supply structure in Favrskov must both meet a sustainable use of the groundwater resource and support strong urban and corporate development.
There will be opportunities to influence the position in interaction with your future groundwater colleagues based on your qualifications.
You will become part of Team Groundwater and the tasks mainly consist of duties related to the municipal authority in relation to the water supply area. At present, we are also in the process of realizing the municipality's adopted action plans, among other things through a cooperation agreement with the Hadsten and Thorsø waterworks, the Nature Agency and the Climate Forest Foundation on 640 ha afforestation. This takes place in close connection with groundwater protection in boringsnære beskyttelsesområder (BNBO) and vulnerable groundwater-forming areas (SGO).
You will be part of the team’s joint task solution and in close cooperation with your colleagues in the groundwater team and across Nature and Environment, where there is interdisciplinary collaboration also with rivers, nature, agriculture and the business team. You must be ready to identify pragmatic solutions and enter into dialogue on equal terms with your other professional colleagues in Technology and Environment, as well as the local waterworks, water councils and water collaborations.
You will work closely with four colleagues in the groundwater team, which is part of Nature and Environment with around 35 employees. You will join the Department of Environment, Energy and Groundwater.
