Your new workplace
The Danish Defence Intelligence Service (FE) is Denmark's foreign intelligence service and works – covertly and openly – to protect Denmark and Danish interests in a changing world.
We are not alone in protecting Denmark, but we are the only authority that has been mandated to employ very special means to uncover what other states and foreign actors attempt to keep secret. It makes sense for us to contribute to peace, safety and security for Danes, both in the analog and the digital world, and we do this by uncovering, assessing, advising on, and counteracting both current threats and threats in development.
We value the strength of our diversity with deep expertise and specialists, and we are a very special and operationally oriented knowledge organization that has many different tasks, but all share the knowledge base that our intelligence work creates.
Your salary package depends on your qualifications
Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the relevant professional organization, depending on your educational background. In addition, you have the opportunity to negotiate a pay supplementary based on qualifications. The average working time is 37 hours per week including paid lunch break. The position includes a pension scheme funded by FE.
As an employee of FE you are subject to special terms. It is a requirement that you can obtain and maintain a security clearance during your entire employment. As in the rest of the Defence, you have a duty for short-term deployments abroad.
