About the job

Do you have strong collaboration and communication skills and an eye for economics? Then you could be our new colleague in Finance and Procurement.

Many people think that working with finance is about being good with numbers. It is. But with us, it is at least as important to be able to create dialogue and collaboration with others.

Are you keen to learn new things and work with finance and procurement across a municipality, and do you have the courage to ask questions and collaborate with many different people? Then you could be the colleague we are looking for.

We are seeking a financial consultant for our Finance and Procurement department as part of the central staff function, where we work closely together to support the organization’s finances and procurement. Experience can be an advantage, but the most important for us is your curiosity, motivation and willingness to develop and contribute to a strong professional community.

We are ready to welcome you

With us you will become part of an experienced work community with 13 capable colleagues, where we help each other and share responsibility for the tasks. We know that people learn best through collaboration, sparring and by being allowed to try out their professional skills.

Therefore we are ready to share our experiences, help you get started well and support you in your professional development.

You will work with independent tasks, but you will never be alone.

At the same time you will have the opportunity to build broad experience within the finance and procurement area, and together we will determine which tasks and professional areas best fit your strengths and interests.

We offer you

  • a strong professional community with skilled and helpful colleagues spread over several teams, where we place great emphasis on collaboration and a good social community across the teams.
  • thorough onboarding and ongoing sparring with opportunities for learning, responsibility and professional development
  • a workplace where we practice and want to learn from our mistakes, and speak openly and constructively about the best solutions to the tasks
  • a daily life with cross-disciplinary collaboration and stakeholders
  • a workplace where your ideas and perspectives are welcome.

Your tasks

You will work with tasks within both finance and procurement. Your primary tasks will among other things be to:

  • support the municipality’s digital procurement through user support, training and guidance
  • maintain catalogs and contribute to ensuring that the municipality’s procurement agreements are used correctly
  • advise on contracts, procurement agreements and appropriate procurement behavior
  • solve finance and accounting tasks, including reconciliations, follow-up and quality assurance
  • convey financial knowledge and guidance to colleagues and partners, among other things as part of the internal finance support within the municipality
  • contribute to the development and efficiency of workflows, systems and processes
  • collaborate across departments and professional areas in the municipality

The final task portfolio will be adapted to your qualifications and experience as well as the department’s overall tasks.

We imagine that you

  • are interested in finance, digitized procurement and administrative tasks
  • have a relevant educational background in finance, accounting, administration or procurement
  • are proactive and take the initiative to start a dialogue when a task requires it
  • are community-oriented and contribute with positive energy and good teamwork

It is not essential how much experience you have. We place greater emphasis on your motivation, your curiosity and your desire to develop.
