About the job

Allerød Municipality is seeking an employee with a crafts background and experience in the pedagogical field. The position is 30-37 hours per week, and intended to be filled on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Allerød Municipality has consolidated the activation efforts for the unemployed in Jobberiet, where the focus is on practice-oriented training in various concrete tasks with emphasis on individual work scheduling, execution and quality control as well as participation in collegial collaboration. Jobberiet consists of different “workshops,” to which each citizen will be assigned depending on interests and competences.

There is a need for a targeted effort focusing on training of attendance stability, professional, social and language competencies within a framework that can take into account each person’s challenges and potentials.

In all functions, teaching and work tasks, motivation, training and encouragement to job seeking are central values, to support the individual in acquiring the necessary competencies to enter

the labor market or in company-oriented activation.

The goal is for the citizen to be actively seeking employment while at the same time developing professional as well as personal competences.

The target group is unemployed individuals who receive public assistance, including integration residents.

About the position

Can you contribute professional competences in relation to running a workshop that performs small repairs

and restoration of Mooncars as well as performing creative woodwork and ad hoc tasks, while at the same time collaborating with your colleagues to motivate and support the citizen’s path to the labor market - then you are just the one we are looking for.

A significant part of the position will be tied to Allerød Municipality’s temporary housing, where you, together with citizens from Jobberiet, will handle various practical tasks.

It can include, among other things, minor repairs, light maintenance and minor preparation tasks in connection with moving in and out, as well as other routine practical and crafts tasks.

The tasks should also be used actively as part of the citizens’ employment-oriented processes. You must therefore be able to involve the citizens in the work, teach and plan the tasks so that each citizen has the opportunity to develop their competences and experience responsibility, progression and success in concrete tasks.

You will thus play an important role in both ensuring that the practical tasks are completed and in creating a good learning and working community around the tasks.

You will become part of an engaged and professionally skilled team consisting of 7 employees, based in Vassingerød. In addition, a number of other colleagues are attached to the house to contribute with their expertise – for example in relation to job-seeking activities. There will be tasks that are solved across the organization, and we therefore expect you to see yourself as part of the overall Jobberi and to contribute flexibly where there is a need.

About you

We expect that you

  • Are trained craftsman or have particular craft skills that you have used in a previous job
  • Have experience with pedagogical work in relation to adults
  • Have good competences in joining a dynamic team around the individual citizen
  • Have the desire and ability to teach and actively involve citizens in the practical tasks.
  • Have a natural ability to interact with people and preferably experience with supporting adults in their development.
  • Can meet citizens with acknowledgment while also setting clear demands for participation, responsibility and quality.
  • Can work independently and plan the day’s tasks, but also thrive in close collaboration with colleagues.
  • Can handle stressed citizens
  • Can maintain an overview and act in a busy everyday life
  • Are engaged, structured and have the ability and desire to work holistically
  • Have command of written communication and can document relevant observations and development.
  • Have knowledge of IT at user level (we work, among other things, in Fasit and Acadre)
