Do you want to advise some of the bank's best customers – namely your colleagues and their families?

Do you thrive in a varied everyday life with high customer satisfaction, strong collaboration and a hunger to create results, then perhaps you are the person we are looking for as a Financial Advisor in the Employee Banking. We are looking for an advisor for the Employee Banking in Aarhus or Roskilde. Experience as an advisor for private customers is an advantage, but the willingness and ability to learn can also take you far.

About our team

In the Employee Banking, we advise Nordea's employees and their families across Denmark. Our main task is to provide intimate and competent guidance that makes customers' wishes and plans possible.

You will become part of an advisory team with 30 dedicated colleagues. The advisory work takes place online via Teams, telephone and email. We have offices in Roskilde and Aarhus, and everyday life is characterized by good humor, high energy and strong collaboration, where quality, professional sparring and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life.

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the values we use as guiding principles to become the bank we want to be – and which we imagine you share with us.

What you will work with

  • Your main task is to create value for the customer and Nordea through close advisory, good needs assessment and solutions that are based on the customer's situation.
  • You will be responsible for a customer portfolio and are expected to take ownership of the customers' development, while actively contributing to the team's joint results.
  • Customer contact is central, and you work proactively and accessibly, so customers experience that they are seen, heard and well helped.

Who you are

We are looking for an engaged advisor who is driven by good customer experiences, results and strong collaboration. You are good at understanding people and see yourself as a natural team player.

You thrive with complex tasks and a daily life where both responsibility and good humor fill the day. You have business sense with the customer in focus and you are motivated to assemble solutions that make a real difference. You work in a structured way, deliver solid credit work and keep the agreements and deadlines that ensure quality for both customers and colleagues. You have a banking-related education, experience in the field and are passionate about the job as an advisor.

Therefore it is important that you

  • Are able to establish a trustful and professional relationship with your customers.
  • Are ambitious on behalf of yourself, the department and the bank.
  • Work in a structured and responsible manner.
  • Take shared responsibility for your own development.
  • Are quality-conscious and keep your commitments.
  • Are a good and helpful colleague who enjoys collaborating in a team.

What we offer

In the Employee Banking you get a unique opportunity to advise customers who live across the entire country. It provides an exciting, diverse and academically strong portfolio. You get good opportunities for personal and professional development and can take ownership of areas such as housing, investment, pension, credit, digital tools and the good customer experience. At Nordea we focus on development and offer many career and development opportunities across the group.

Our new colleagues come to us when they want to develop themselves. For some, it is the next step on their career path. For others, it is about setting new goals within their area of expertise – in other words, with us you always move forward.

A culture that promotes performance and growth in one of the largest Nordic banks, offering different opportunities to express yourself, develop, and learn from skilled colleagues with diverse backgrounds in a lively work environment.

Hybrid work model – we believe in the value of bringing people together, and at the same time we choose the freedom of being flexible.

Diversity and inclusion is a natural part of our daily work. We know that an inclusive workplace is sustainable. We truly believe that our different backgrounds, experiences, attributes and personalities make us stronger together. Every day we strive to find new ways to improve diversity and inclusion in our network, for example we have signed diversity charters with the EU Commission in the countries where we operate to emphasize our willingness to engage with others to continue learning and improving.
