Your tasks

In the R&D Processing department you will be faced with a daily life where tasks rarely have a predefined answer. Here you are allowed to use both your mechanical skills in a large project, where you need to think creatively and develop solutions from scratch.

• You design and build specialized machines that optimize the daily operations in LEGO's packaging areas.
• You assemble and test micro-mechanics with your own hands, so you physically feel and understand the equipment you create.
• You adjust components and low voltage to precisely map cause and effect in the new systems.
• You contribute practical mechanical expertise
• You drive your own development tasks forward from the first good idea to the finished, running solution.

Your profile

You have a strong technical curiosity and a deep understanding of how mechanics and electronics connect. You love using your hands and have a practical approach to problem solving, which enables you to understand complex relationships even when you do not have a recipe to follow.

• You have a solid mechanical background, for example as a finisher/finishing mechanic, automation mechanic, machinist, automation technician, toolmaker or similar.
• You have solid experience with mechanical assembly.
• You have strong practical experience with using your hands to build and assemble technical equipment.
• You have a good basic understanding of micro-mechanics and low voltage.
• You are able to test functions in practice and can see how small adjustments affect the whole.

As a person you thrive with a high degree of freedom and you do not let the fact that the path to the goal is not laid out in advance discourage you. You work focused and persistent with your tasks, and you are motivated by the professional pride of seeing your equipment operate perfectly in production.
