Frederiksberg Municipality's 24-hour rehabilitation offers a job for a nurse in the evening shift

Frederiksberg Municipality's 24-hour rehabilitation (FKD) is located at the beautiful Frederiksberg Hospital. We have 100 temporary inpatient beds and receive about 1200 citizens annually for a rehabilitation pathway after a hospital admission. In addition, we receive citizens from their own homes for respite stays, for assessment stays, and for palliative pathways.

At FKD we have jointly defined our core mission: We create meaningful and individually tailored rehabilitation pathways in a multidisciplinary environment where the citizen achieves the greatest possible independence . And here good nursing plays a major role.

Are you a newly qualified nurse or a nurse wanting to learn more about the elderly field, then apply confidently for this position. The uncertainty that can come with starting as new, we will accommodate by planning ongoing introduction to the area during the first six months.

The position is initially full-time. Or 28 hours per week distributed in a 5/2 arrangement.

You may be surprised at how meaningful it is to be a front-runner in elderly care in the primary sector. It is indeed enriching work to meet older citizens who have lived a long and interesting life, but now need skills in a specialized area that does not carry great prestige but earns great recognition from citizens, relatives and others who understand the exciting complexity of supporting a person when they need exactly your competencies.

We are a multidisciplinary house with nurses, social- and health care assistants and aides, occupational and physical therapists, administrative staff, service personnel, social worker and dietitian. And we would really like to have you as a new colleague.

As a nurse at FKD you will assist with tasks involving both basic and complex nursing care. There will be instrumental tasks such as wound care, injections, enteral feeding, tube placement, catheter insertion, blood sampling, swabs, medication management, etc. But also many tasks of a more relational nature, where you come close to the citizens, as the focus is on person-centered and presence-based care, which we highly value. As well as basic nursing care in the form of personal hygiene, oral care, nutrition, mobilization, etc.

There are no requirements that you have competencies for these tasks at the start of employment. The complexity of the tasks increases over time and you will, in collaboration with a mentor and during the first year, be gradually handed more responsibility.

Salary: according to the applicable collective agreement. There is also the possibility of individually negotiated pay supplements.
