Gardener assistant for the packing department – physical work and fast-paced

At LUNDAGER we are looking for a skilled and hardworking gardening assistant for our packing department. We need a colleague who can roll up their sleeves, work efficiently and thrive with physically demanding tasks.

The position includes, among other things, building and handling flower containers, packing and preparing plants, as well as other practical tasks in the packing department.

About the job

You will become part of our packing department, where we prepare plants for customers in both Denmark and abroad every day.

Your main tasks will be

• Building and preparing flower containers.
• Packing plants.
• Handling and moving plants, flower containers and materials.
• Sorting and quality control of plants.
• Other practical tasks in the daily operation of the packing department.

It is important that you are prepared for the work to be physically demanding. There will be many repetitive motions, lifts and handling of materials, and you will be on your feet for most of the working day.

• Have good physical fitness and thrive in physically demanding work. You are used to using your body and can handle an active workday.
• Have experience from the gardening industry , preferably with packing and preparing plants.
• Are reliable and responsible. Your colleagues can count on you.
• Work efficiently and in a structured way. You can keep the pace while also paying attention to quality.
• Be practically minded. You roll up your sleeves, see what needs to be done, and help where there is a need.
• Be a good colleague. You contribute to a good collaboration and a positive everyday life.

You do not need to be a trained gardener. The most important is that you have practical experience, a good work ethic and a willingness to get stuck in.
