GARDENER AT Sct. Olai Cemetery Management

Sct. Olai Cemetery Management is seeking a gardener for Sct. Olai Cemetery in Kalundborg and surroundings for immediate employment. If you are looking for good working conditions and good colleagues, read on.

The work comprises all routine tasks at the cemetery, including

• Care and maintenance of graves.
• Care of green areas.
• Planting of spring and summer flowers.
• Pruning and hedge trimming.
• Grave decoration.
• Lawn mowing.
• Digging of urn and coffin graves.
• Various construction/landscaping tasks.
• Contact with relatives and visitors at the cemetery.

We expect.

• That you are a trained gardener or similar within the green sector.
• That you have experience with maintenance of green areas.
• That you have experience with pruning shrubs and trees.
• That you are able to operate the equipment associated with the work.
• That you are prepared to work independently and with a sense of responsibility.
• That you can also collaborate with the other employees.

Employment terms

37 hours per week

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the Fællesoverenskomsten between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees’ Organisations (OAO-S) and the Organizational Agreement for farm assistants, gardener workers, gardeners and trial workers entered into between the Ministry of Finance and the Fagligt Fælles Forbund (3F). The agreements can be seen at www.medst.dk

The salary for gardeners is 340,806 DKK (step 1) and 350,849 DKK (step 2). In addition there are function allowances and qualification allowances. Pension is 15%

Wages are paid hourly, and after 5 consecutive months of employment with the same employing authority there is a transition to monthly salary. The Cemetery Board will determine seniority-based placement.
