We are looking for an IPS consultant for a project position in Corporate Services, who will help realize Ungeløftet’s goal of helping more young people into work, education and meaningful communities. The position is a time-limited project employment with expected start of 1 November and ends 31 December 2028.

About Ungeløftet

Ungeløftet is a national initiative designed to support young people who are outside of work and education to find their way toward an independent adult life.

In Gribskov Municipality we work with a basis in the IPS method (Individually Planned Job with Support) and the approach "More young people should participate". We believe that all young people can succeed when the effort starts from their wishes, dreams and resources.

We want to be the place where young people meet with a different approach than they may have experienced before. An approach characterized by trust, relationships, flexibility and belief in the individual’s possibilities.

About the position

As an IPS consultant you will be a central actor in the work around the young people. You will support the individual young person in achieving and sustaining regular work or education through a guided and holistic effort.

You will also be an important bridge builder between the young person, companies, educational institutions and relevant partners.

The position is organizationally anchored in Corporate Services, but you will work closely with the other staff in Ungeløftet and be part of a strong cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Your tasks

You will, among other things, be responsible for

• Support young people in work and education based on the IPS method
• Work with rapid job seeking, job start and close follow-up
• Seek out, establish and maintain collaborations with local companies
• Match young people with relevant job and educational opportunities
• Collaborate closely with psychiatry, social psychiatry and other internal and external partners

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant professional background, e.g., social worker, social mediator, employment consultant or similar
• Have interest in or experience with employment initiatives for young people
• See opportunities and potential in people, even when the path to work or education may be challenging
• Have understanding of the labor market and preferably knowledge of the local business community
• Are good at establishing relationships and creating trustful cooperation
• Thrive with proactive business contact
• Can work independently and at the same time naturally join a cross-disciplinary team
• Are organized and good at following up on agreements and initiatives
• Have an interest in the IPS method and are possibly trained IPS consultant
• Have understanding of youth culture and the challenges that disadvantaged young people may face

Since Gribskov Municipality covers a large geographic area, it is a prerequisite that you have a driving license.
