EUC Syd is seeking an engaged instructor for our Department of Transport and Logistics, based at Lundsbjerg Industrivej in Aabenraa. About the job

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Teaching on Vocational Education and Training (EVU) programs (GF2 and main track) within the transport sector
• Carrying out AMU courses and continuing education activities
• Practical teaching in truck driving and transport-related subjects
• Planning and development of teaching courses
• Guidance and development of pupils and course participants
• Collaboration with companies, industry organizations and partners
• Contribution to the development of new course and education activities

We are looking for a colleague who

• Is a driver with solid practical experience and/or trained as a heavy vehicle driving instructor
• Has in-depth knowledge of the transport industry
• Wishes to share their knowledge and experience with others
• Thrives on teaching people with different prerequisites
• Can create engagement and motivation in teaching
• Works independently and in a structured way
• Contributes positively to the community and collaboration in the department

It is an advantage if you have or wish to obtain competencies in

• Cranes
• ADR (dangerous goods)
• Heavy vehicle driving instructor education
• EU qualification programs
• Company training and AMU activities
• Pedagogical skills or experience with coaching and guidance

If you lack the pedagogical education, we will ensure you receive the necessary competencies through relevant pedagogical education programs.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment and remuneration are based on qualifications and in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s Executive Order no. 101 of February 1, 2007 on terms of employment for civil servant-like employees at institutions for vocational education and dietary departments.

There is a probationary period of 2 years as well as an attractive pension arrangement tied to the position.

Applicants without pedagogical education must complete a pedagogical diploma within 4 years of appointment.
