Head of Department for the Tax Department East

About the position

As department head you will have the overall responsibility for a department consisting of 13-15 tax advisers. You will be a central driving force in creating direction, development, well-being, and at the same time ensure that we collectively deliver value-creating advice of high quality.

You will be the link between your department in Velas East and the Tax Department in Velas West, which are spread across several locations on the other side of the Great Belt.

You will be part of a group that in the upcoming period will work purposefully to shape the future of the tax departments. This means you will have an active role in developing our products and advisory, so we together ensure that we continue to create value for our clients.

The position has a clear seasonal rhythm. In the accounting season, which runs from January to June, your focus will largely be on operations, follow-up, and professional leadership, where you ensure progress and quality. In the second half of the year you will have increased focus on developing each employee, optimization, and planning of next year’s accounting season.

Your key tasks are

• Ensure high quality of our financial statements and advisory services in general.
• Strengthen and develop the business area in collaboration with your colleagues.
• Create cohesion in your department, which is a mix of new, experienced, young, and older advisers.
• Work consciously and structurally to motivate and develop your employees personally and professionally.

Industry knowledge is not a requirement – we value your leadership skills and your potential more. You stand firm, and can cut through when necessary.

You have a relevant education at bachelor’s level or other experience from similar positions.
