IT- and information security is not only about protecting what we have. It is also about creating room to develop new digital solutions, connect more technology, and use data more powerfully and better both within Kemp & Lauritzen, but especially towards our customers.

Therefore we are looking for an IT security chief who can create coherence between strategy, risk management, and execution. A leader who can translate complex security requirements into concrete initiatives and at the same time ensure that security becomes a fully integrated part of Kemp & Lauritzen's digital development.

What does the job consist of

As head of IT and information security you will be responsible for defining and driving our overall security strategy across IT, IoT/OT and digital products. Your task is both to ensure a robust security level in daily operations and to create the safe framework for Kemp & Lauritzen to scale our digital solutions, customer platform, IoT platforms, and data-driven services. You must make risks understandable, decisions concrete, and security usable in practice.

This requires that you can set a strategic direction, engage in dialogue with the executive leadership and customers, and work closely with colleagues who will translate requirements and decisions into action.

You will report to Kemp & Lauritzens VP for IT & Digitalisation and be part of the IT & Digitalisation management, where you help develop processes, collaboration and the company.

Your area of responsibility

• Strategy and direction: Define and drive the overall IT and information security strategy and roadmap
• Governance: Drive our security program and steering committee and ensure clear and effective governance of the area in accordance with the IT strategy principles, which are based on cloud-first, standardization, and data management
• Risk: Map, assess and communicate Kemp & Lauritzen's risk picture and drive the necessary initiatives to address risks
• Compliance: Maintain and further develop our ISO 27001 certification and ensure compliance with, among other things, NIS2, GDPR and other relevant customer requirements
• IT and product security: Ensure the necessary security measures across core IT, cloud, IoT/OT and digital products
• Preparedness: Maintain contingency plans, handle security incidents and conduct contingency drills
• Awareness: Increase the organization's knowledge about security and create a culture where secure digital behavior is a natural part of everyday life
• Leadership: Lead and develop your team and foster strong collaboration with specialists and leaders across the organization
• Advisory: Be a trusted advisor to the executive leadership and the business and contribute to dialogue with customers about security and compliance

Qualifications

You have solid experience with IT and information security from a larger or complex organization with both IT and OT. You have both the technical understanding and the managerial weight to balance many considerations and translate them into clear priorities.

It is important that you have

• A relevant academic education in areas such as IT security, data science, engineering or IT management
• Min. 7 years of experience in the IT security field
• Documented experience with ISO 27001 as well as implementation and operation of ISMS
• Experience with NIS2 and preferably requirements for digital services and customer-facing products
• Experience with governance, risk management and compliance within IT and information security
• Strong technical understanding of cloud security, identity management, SOC/MDR, SIEM, networks and secure development of applications
• Experience handling security breaches, crisis situations and contingency drills
• Experience with IoT/OT environments and preferably IEC 62443
• Ability to translate strategic requirements into concrete goals, plans and controls
• Experience in people management will be a clear advantage
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, IEC 62443 or ISO 27001 Implementer/Auditor are an advantage but not a requirement in themselves
