About the job

Do you want, as of January 1, 2027, to lead our PPR, where closeness, pragmatism, action, and cross-department collaboration make a difference for children and young people?

In our municipality we know each other, and the path from idea to action is short. We are seeking a leader for PPR who can unite professionalism, operations and development around our shared ambition: to create the best participation opportunities for children and young people in strong, binding communities.

As the head of PPR you will play a central role in the municipality's overall efforts in the children and youth area. You will become a visible and approachable leader for the staff and an important partner for school leaders, daycare leaders and the child and family area.

PPR consists of 8 staff members including psychologists, pedagogical consultants, speech and hearing consultants and an occupational therapist.

We are looking for a leader who

  • Thrives in a smaller organization with short and fast decision-making paths
  • Can unite professional insight with organizational understanding
  • Has experience with work in PPR
  • Is a licensed clinical psychologist or has another relevant professional qualification
  • Has a view for both professional quality, development and operations
  • Is strong in collaboration with employees, managers, families and external actors
  • Has strong relational skills
  • Preferably has experience with psychological treatment work

We offer

  • A key position with great influence on the development of PPR
  • Skilled and engaged employees
  • A strong interdisciplinary collaboration
  • A municipality characterized by cross-disciplinary collaboration, short decision-making paths and real influence

Your tasks include, among other things

  • Staff and professional leadership of PPR's employees
  • Ensuring high quality in advice, guidance and specialized pedagogical interventions
  • Contributing to early, preventive and inclusive interventions in day care and schools
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration across the child and youth area
  • Budget and resource management
  • Contribution to the overall development of the municipality's children and youth area

Accessible Treatment Services are organizationally anchored in PPR. Here the operation and development of lighter treatment courses within Mind My Mind and STIME are handled. In addition, Psychological Help as well as the Autism Consultant are affiliated with PPR.

PPR in Lemvig belongs organizationally to the Child and Family Center (BFC), which besides PPR consists of the Child and Family Counseling, Health Visiting, and Family Treatment along with a secretariat. All departments are under the same roof, with the opportunity for close cross-disciplinary collaboration around the individual child and its family.

As the head of PPR you will be part of BFC's center management, which consists of the leaders of the four departments and the head of the Child and Family Center.

Salary

Salary is set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and Lemvig Municipality's salary policy. A child and criminal record check will be obtained upon employment.

If you are a licensed psychologist, the starting salary for a full-time PPR leader will be 51,052 DKK per month plus pension. If you have another educational background, the salary level will be stated no later than at the recruitment interview.
