Head of Purchasing

The Job

In the role of Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for running and developing the purchasing department with focus on both operations and development. As the incumbent leader you are close to the employees and daily operations, while freeing time for the company's Supply Chain Manager and contributing to strategic development.

You will lead a team of three employees and also function as a central sparring partner for production, quality and development.

The role is hands-on with a natural link between day-to-day operations and business development.

Your profile

We are seeking a profile with solid experience from a similar position in a machinery/industrial company – including the industry's suppliers and customers.

You have experience in leadership.

You have experience with ERP systems, preferably Business Central. In addition you have experience with the MS Office package.

You have knowledge of CAD – you can read and understand drawings.

You are proficient in Danish and English, written and spoken.

You have a relevant technical education such as e.g. mechanical engineer, production technologist or a vocational qualification such as industrial technician.
