Head of Strategy and Business Development

For a market-leading Danish manufacturing company we are seeking a Chief for Strategy and Business Development for a newly created key position with great organizational visibility and significant influence.

The role will have a central position in the organization with close collaboration with the company's CEO and the rest of the management. You will become an important sparring partner in strategic decisions and will be responsible for ensuring progress in the company's most important development initiatives.

At the same time you will take over the leadership of a highly specialized team in strategy, analysis, project management and sustainability.

Your primary areas of responsibility

You will, among other things, be responsible for

• Drive the company's strategic development agenda and ensure progress in cross-functional initiatives
• Draft and further develop the company's strategic plans and long-term development direction
• Support the executive management with analyses, decision propositions and strategic priorities
• Ensure effective portfolio management of development projects and investments
• Integrate sustainability as a natural part of the company's business development
• Work closely with leaders across the organization and create strong anchoring of strategic initiatives
• Lead, develop and motivate an experienced specialist team
• Create structure, direction and organizational impact in complex development projects
