Head Waiter Wanted for Sauntehus Slotshotel

Sauntehus Slotshotel is seeking an engaged and experienced head waiter who wants to become an important part of our team and help create memorable experiences for our guests.

Sauntehus is located in beautiful, historic surroundings by Hornbæk, where we work with hotel, restaurant, banquets, conferences and special events. For us, personal hospitality, quality and attention to detail are at the center.

Your role

As head waiter you will be a central part of the daily operations in the restaurant. You will be responsible for ensuring that our guests experience a high and professional level of service – while helping to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Your tasks will include

• Ensuring professional and personal guest service
• Taking responsibility for the restaurant's daily operations in collaboration with management
• Planning and executing banquets, weddings, conferences and other events
• Having an overview of seating plans, service and timing
• Advising guests on the menu, wines and other beverages
• Ensuring good collaboration between restaurant, kitchen and other departments
• Helping coordinate substitutes when we have larger parties or many guests
• Contributing to maintaining and developing our high standard of hospitality

We imagine that you

• Have experience as a waiter – preferably from hotel, restaurant or banquets
• Have a natural flair for hospitality and guest contact
• Are professional, service-minded and approachable
• Can maintain overview, even when it is busy
• Have an interest in food, wine and gastronomy
• Work in a structured and independent way
• Have a good sense of humor and contribute positively to the work environment
• Are flexible regarding working hours, weekends and holidays

The most important thing, however, is that you are passionate about giving guests an experience they will remember .

The work will primarily take place in the evening and weekend hours, and there may be work on holidays in connection with events and holidays.
