About the job

Center for Sundhed has – as part of the Health and Care Administration – the strategic responsibility for the development of the local, coherent and sustainable health system in the City of Copenhagen. We have an ambition to influence the development of the municipal health system and create greater coherence, quality and sustainability in the citizen-facing health services

The Rehabilitation Department is part of the Center for Health and is responsible for developing and supporting health initiatives at the administration's rehabilitation centers and temporary placements as well as at Neurorehabilitation Copenhagen.

We are in the midst of significant development in the health and rehabilitation sector. The health reform changes the division of tasks and responsibilities between municipality and region, while the City of Copenhagen still must solve a number of health tasks as operator. At the same time we work with, among other things, the Elderly Act, rehabilitation in holistic care, temporary placements, data support and new technological solutions.

The department consists of 15 dedicated employees who work closely with operating units, management, other departments in the central administration and external partners.

About the job

We are looking for a health professional consultant who wants to help develop health initiatives with a particular focus on technology and data.

You will play a central role in supporting the development of municipal health initiatives and in translating new possibilities within technology and data into solutions that make sense in practice. You will, among other things, work with rehabilitation, holistic care, temporary placements and other rehabilitation initiatives.

Your work will span broadly. You must be able to identify relevant technological and digital opportunities, work with data and analyses and help develop workflows and solutions that support quality, coherence and sustainable operation.

You will among other things work on developing and implementing technology- and data-solutions, support the use of data in management and operations as well as prepare analyses, decision proposals, notes and presentations to leadership and the political level. You will also come to work with Excel, BI solutions and other data sources and contribute to capacity tracking and development work.

An important part of the job will be to act as a link between the operating units where the citizen-facing task is performed, management, the rest of the administration, suppliers and the political level. You must be able to understand different needs and perspectives and translate them into solutions that are professionally relevant and can function in a municipal everyday life.

You will also have the opportunity to work with supplier collaboration and tasks related to agreements, contracts and requirement specifications as well as project-, process- and development tasks across the department and the administration.

About you

We imagine that you have a relevant health professional background, preferably supplemented with an academic further education or other relevant continuing education. You have at least four years of experience as a consultant, development consultant or project manager, preferably from a municipality, region or another politically governed organization.

We expect that you have an interest in health, rehabilitation and in how technology and data can support the development of the local health system. You have a good data understanding and work safely and structurally with, among other things, Excel and preferably BI-solutions.

You have a good analytical eye and can translate data and complex problems into clear analyses, decision bases and recommendations. At the same time you understand that good solutions are not only about data and technology, but also about professionalism, organization, economy, workflows and the people who will use the solutions in practice.

As you will act as a link between many different stakeholders, it is important that you are good at building relationships and can navigate safely in different professional and management spaces. You have political flair and understanding of working in a politically governed organization and can communicate clearly and precisely – both orally and in writing.

And we emphasize that you are responsible, independent and good at planning, prioritizing and completing your tasks. You must be able to maintain an overview, even when the agenda changes, and at the same time reach out to your colleagues when needed.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local salary formation. We will obtain references prior to employment.

The position is 37 hours per week with expected commencement on 1 January 2027.
