About the job

Are you strong in personnel law and ready for new HR challenges? Holbæk Hospital is seeking an HR consultant for the Staff – HR and Education

Do you thrive on being the specialist in your field and the one people turn to for advice, and can you balance the role as a specialist within personnel law with broad HR tasks such as recruitment, retention, sick leave and HR data, and contribute to the development of these areas?

Then it might be you we are looking for. We are seeking a skilled, outgoing and helpful colleague who thrives with a varied and dynamic workday with versatile tasks in an informal environment.

As an HR consultant you will become a central sparring partner for the hospital's managers and will play an important role in supporting both daily operations and the continued development of the HR area.

About HR and Education

HR and Education is part of the Stab at Holbæk Hospital, which also includes Finance and Planning as well as Secretariat, Quality and Digitalisation.

We are five employees and an HR manager, who in close collaboration with the hospital's departments solve a wide range of HR tasks.

As part of HR and Education you will become an important sparring partner for the hospital's department heads, ward managers and hospital leadership. We support 13 departments with around 2,000 employees connected to them and work closely with management on both daily operations, development and handling of personnel-legal and HR-related issues.

Work tasks

Your tasks are diverse, and you will have your own areas of responsibility, but you will also participate in the joint solution of tasks. Your primary tasks will be:

  • Advice and support to managers on HR-related questions, including personnel-legal issues
  • Handling of collective bargaining questions and participation in negotiations
  • Strategic sparring on wages and terms of employment
  • Participation in and leadership of difficult conversations, welfare conversations and other personnel meetings
  • Advice to managers on sick leave, wellbeing and retention

Your competencies

You have a relevant HR or legal education, preferably combined with experience in supporting managers in HR and personnel-law questions, e.g., from a role as HR Business Partner.

In general you should be effective and professionally grounded within the HR area, including experience with and knowledge of collective agreements and negotiations.

Moreover we place emphasis on that you

  • Have strong analytical skills and experience with IT
  • Communicate clearly and professionally – both in sensitive conversations and in cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
  • Have good business understanding and experience working in a politically governed organization
  • Work independently and in a structured manner
  • Can balance a service-minded approach with the ability to prioritise and trim as needed
  • Contribute actively to the community and have a positive attitude towards both tasks and colleagues
  • Help when it is busy, and be ready to go the extra mile to reach a good result.

The position entails a broad portfolio of tasks and periods of high activity, so it is important that you can maintain oversight, work structurally and make the necessary priorities. At the same time you thrive in navigating within the frameworks set by legislation, collective agreements, regional policies and local guidelines for HR advisory services.

We offer

  • An exciting and challenging job with a high degree of independence and responsibility
  • A job in an organisation that makes a difference every day
  • A workplace where trust and free spaces under responsibility are keywords
  • A good working environment with engaged and experienced colleagues who look forward to welcoming you
  • A full-time position with the workplace at Holbæk Hospital – close to the highway, within walking distance from the station and with good parking facilities

We prioritise wellbeing and collaboration highly and value collegiality and psychological safety. We emphasise a strong professional environment where we help each other, share knowledge and also have room for humour in everyday life.

We aim to be a flexible workplace with opportunities for balance between work and private life. Therefore we offer a flextime arrangement and the possibility of homeworking by agreement.

The working hours are 37 hours per week including a paid lunch break.

Employment according to the applicable collective agreement.

Are you ready to take the next step in your HR career and help make a positive difference? We look forward to hearing from you!
