Information Security Advisors for the Defence Establishment and Terrain Command in Hjørring

About the position

The section currently consists of 13 employees, forming a professionally and socially well-functioning team where well-being, exciting professional challenges and close constructive collaboration are top priorities.

You will report to Mads Knudsen, who is the head of a team comprising specialists in information security, GDPR and military security.

You will primarily be responsible for

• Governance and compliance within GDPR and AI
• Support and management of the action plan and annual cycle for the section
• Development of KPI’s, case briefs and management reporting
• Support and management during audits and inspections
• Development of documentation, policies and guidelines

You will also be able to become involved in other tasks in the section, including development and dissemination of security-relevant training and education, onboarding and competency management, risk assessment of processes, systems and suppliers, and contribute to coordination and development with other authorities.

Your fixed workplace will be Hjørring Barracks, but there is also the possibility to arrange home-working days. There may be 10-15 travel days per year, in the form of courses, conferences, or visits to units and suppliers.

About you

We imagine that you have a relevant education with experience in implementing ISO27001 and GDPR.

• You are structured and solution-oriented.
• You can advise and communicate about responsible and lawful use of GDPR and AI across the organization.
• Your oral and written communication skills are strong, and you may have experience with preparing case briefs and management reporting.
• You speak and write Danish, and your collaboration skills are strong, so you navigate easily across the organization.
• You can work professionally and independently with the tasks, but also manage to qualify your work and your competencies in close cooperation with your colleagues.
• You are an inclusive and empathetic colleague who contributes positively to the good mood in the team.

Employment terms

You are employed under the applicable collective agreement in force at any time.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is potential for negotiation of allowances. The position is tied to an employer-funded pension scheme.

The workplace is in Hjørring

As an employee in the Ministry of Defence, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain the security clearance throughout the employment.

As an employee, you are obliged to perform service outside the country’s borders, including at units in international operations aimed at conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacebuilding, humanitarian and other similar operations.
