Instructor for dual-diagnosis courses

Would you like to help raise competencies in dual diagnosis at the psychiatric centers? Then this job is for you.

We are in the middle of a large competence development task, where we support staff in psychiatry with competencies within the dual-diagnosis area. We therefore seek a competent and engaged instructor who masters cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI) and/or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and who can convey these methods to an interdisciplinary target group.

Your qualifications

• Experience with psychiatry and teaching
• Ability to create a common language and a basic understanding of the methods among the staff
• Can bring your professional experiences into the teaching

About the job

In the Section for Competence Development we work targeted and strategically with competence development across a wide range of areas, including integrated dual-diagnosis treatment and treatment within cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. You will, together with good colleagues, play a central role in educating staff at the psychiatric centers, so they are well prepared to handle complex patient pathways.

Your duties

You will plan and conduct training programs for staff in both outpatient clinics and inpatient wards. The training material is generic and will be used by several instructors. In collaboration with colleagues you will, at regular intervals, need to update training materials and methods, and you will need to evaluate and adjust the training programs based on feedback and new research results.

Your profile

• You have experience with the mentioned methods and preferably clinical experience with dual-diagnosis treatment
• You are able to motivate, inspire and facilitate learning processes
• You are positive, outgoing and initiative-taking and have an appreciative and inclusive approach to your work
• It is a clear advantage if you have health-professional education and continuing education within CBT, MI and DBT

Salary and employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the agreement below. The starting salary may vary depending on your seniority, experience, education and the geographic location of the workplace.

Agreement

Agreement for non-management staff in the Health Union’s area 32.17.1

Agreement for academics employed in regions, etc. 33.01.1

The workplace is Gentofte Hospital, Kildegårdsvej 28, 2900 Hellerup. The position is 37 hours per week.
