The role

As an Insurance Broker / Key Account Manager in Construction you will be responsible for your own client portfolio and become the clients’ primary advisor and partner.

You advise companies on insurance and risk matters, develop long-term client relationships and contribute to ensuring solutions that support the clients’ business and risk needs. The role involves close collaboration with clients, insurance companies and internal specialists.

Your key tasks will be

• Advise and service existing clients on their insurance and risk matters
• Develop and strengthen client relationships through professional and value-adding advice
• Prepare and present insurance and risk strategies
• Negotiate insurance solutions with insurers
• Coordinate collaboration between clients, insurers and internal specialists
• Contribute to the development of both existing and new client relationships

You will be part of an engaged team with extensive experience in the Construction segment, where professional sparring, knowledge sharing and cross-organizational collaboration are a natural part of everyday life.

Qualifications

About you

You have a background in the insurance industry and solid experience advising commercial clients. Your experience may have been gained in an insurance brokerage or in an insurance company, where you have worked with the establishment and development of insurance solutions.

Experience with contracting, building or civil engineering companies is an advantage but not a requirement. The most important is that you are motivated to understand your clients’ business and translate complex risk needs into value-creating solutions.

You take responsibility for your deliverables, work in a structured way and thrive in collaboration with both customers and colleagues.

As a person you are

• Professionally strong in property and casualty insurance and have at least level 4 in FOAK
• Outgoing, customer-oriented and highly driven
• Committed, enthusiastic and a strong team player
• Skilled at developing and maintaining long-term client relationships
• Negotiation-savvy with advisory-heavy companies
• Capable of understanding and managing complex risk needs
• Proactive in seeking new opportunities, products and solutions and have a good eye for business development
• Structured and goal-oriented in your approach to both clients, business and administration
• Curious about clients’ business and motivated to create value through advisory
