About the job

INTERNSHIP

Become an intern at the FISKEN Association – a cozy NGO with a heart on Vesterbro

Are you passionate about youth guidance, project development and creative communication? Do you want to be part of a small, warm organization with more than 40 years of experience making a difference for young people? Then the internship at Foreningen FISKEN is for you!

As one of our two interns, you will be part of a close and engaged team where you have a say, responsibility and a daily life full of exciting tasks – from guiding young people to strategically developing projects.

You will, among other things, work with;

  • Youth guidance: Help young people get a good start in working life through part-time jobs.
  • Workshops and presentations: Inspire at schools and youth institutions.
  • Business contacts: Create and strengthen collaborations with local companies.
  • Fundraising: Write grant applications and learn to seek funding for social initiatives.
  • Data and reporting: Analyze questionnaires and document our results.
  • SoMe and communication: Create content that shows what we can do – and why it matters.
  • Volunteer care: Be part of motivating and supporting our fantastic volunteers.

What we offer you;

  • An exciting internship with great variation and lots of learning.
  • A safe and cozy community – you will become part of a small organization with a big heart.
  • 30-hour workweek (every Friday off!).
  • School holidays + one week of study leave.
  • Regular internship guidance and close collaboration with both the team and your fellow intern.
  • Opportunity to make a real difference and see the results of your work.

We are looking for an initiative-taking and structured intern who is passionate about making a difference for young people. You may have experience with analysis, storytelling or youth guidance – but most important is that you are curious and ready to learn.

Practical info

The internship period runs from mid-January to end of June or in the spring semester typically from late August to early December, from 10 am to 6 pm with some evening work (compensated by time off, of course). The internship is unpaid.

Apply today!

Send your application and CV to [email protected] . We hire on an ongoing basis, and you are always welcome to send an application, as we have interns in both the spring and autumn semesters.

We look forward to hearing from you – and perhaps welcoming you to our little NGO family!
