Sales and Estimating Department

Here they work continuously with our customers and assist them in connection with offers to the client. We prioritize close collaborations with our customers – it is the path to optimal solutions. Therefore we invite our customers to effective, value-creating partnerships. Close collaborations with mutual respect and a deep understanding of each other’s businesses and competencies increase the quality of the customers’ projects. We emphasize partnerships with mutual, valuable knowledge about each other’s wishes, challenges and opportunities – they are the direct route to optimal solutions.

BIM Department, Taastrup or Aalborg

In the BIM department they are the frontrunners in implementing BIM at Spæncom - from bids, through project development to production. For example, they work on simulation of bid cases with 3D, 4D, and 5D.

They also work with registration and calculation of tender projects and in this context clarify and specify the project information with the customer and external partners. They thereby contribute to a relationship with our collaborators. We work with BIM tools, and therefore the employees are an important piece in relation to optimizing workflows with these tools, so we ensure high quality and precision in the registration. In addition, they contribute to further development of sales tools, so the use of BIM increases and is optimized.

Design/Engineering Department, Aalborg or Kolding

In the Design/Engineering Department they work with drawing and modeling of concrete elements. In addition they scrutinize the incoming projects and seek necessary information from external consultants. You generate production drawings from 3D models and perform collision checks in 3D. A regular part of daily life is also element geometry, numbering plans, placement and geometry of reinforcement, placement of various embedded parts and distribution of elements across delivery sections.

Finally, they ensure that various internal and external standards and guidelines are followed and contribute to meeting schedules/production plans.

Project Department

In the Project Department our project managers sit and manage the projects from contract signing to delivery of the completed shell. Our project managers are responsible for concrete projects in the order of 10-100 million DKK and consisting of in-house production of concrete elements, design and assembly. They are responsible for the project course – both regarding schedule, quality and economy. They handle all communication with both internal and external relations.

The communication includes contact with the construction site, the client, consultants and authorities. They help compose the optimal project teams – with relevant internal and external stakeholders. As a project manager they thus support good collaboration with other departments across Spæncom’s organization.

Assembly Department

In the assembly department the assembly leader and his team are responsible for carrying out the assembly projects as effectively as possible in relation to customer expectations, use of resources and the project’s economy. They are also responsible that all safety procedures are followed, that quality is top, and that cooperation with internal and external suppliers runs smoothly. Quality control is performed, elements are deburred, various materials procured, and much more.
