Internship program at Simon Kollerup in spring 2027

Member of Parliament Simon Kollerup, who is the Social Democrats' defence spokesperson, is seeking an intern for spring 2027.

Do you dream of a future at Christiansborg or in the central administration? And are you interested in politics, strategy, analysis and communication? Then you may be the ideal candidate for this internship program with appreciation.

Internship program very close to political power

As an intern in the Social Democrats, you will face an exciting and educational semester with a wealth of unique experiences from the workings of Christiansborg. At the same time you will gain a strong network, which you will be able to benefit from for the rest of your professional career. Christiansborg is a place where things move fast, and where you will find some of the most skilled people in political analysis, communication and strategy.

There is a focus on your development

The internship program will be tailored to you and your educational profile with ongoing sparring along the way. For us it is important that during the internship you gain experiences and acquire practical skills that you would not get during a normal semester of study.

The aim of the internship program is to prepare you well for a future career in a political organization, in a campaign department or in the public administration. During your internship you will therefore participate in political work with media handling, preparation of materials for the electoral district, policy development, campaigns, communication and analysis.

It can, for example, entail

• Political and strategic sparring
• Preparation of materials for meetings
• Communication on social media and in the press
• Preparation of materials for external meetings and visits, including in the electoral district
• Participation in meetings in the electoral district.
• Development and execution of campaigns, new communication concepts and content for digital media

We emphasise that your tasks are varied, educational, and relevant to your education, and therefore your work and tasks will be planned in close collaboration with Simon Kollerup as your Member of Parliament.

Application deadline

We are seeking an intern for the spring semester 2027 . Application deadline 30 November 2026 , but please send your application as soon as possible, as we are conducting ongoing interviews.

It is a prerequisite that the internship can be transferred as credit to a relevant higher education program. There will be flexibility regarding exams and university assignments.

As an intern you will also automatically become a member of the Social Democrats' student and intern association “S-student association,” which is run voluntarily by the party's students and interns, and which during the semester arranges social events.
