At Nic. Christiansen Gruppen we are looking for an IT consultant for our Operations team in Kolding. Here you will become part of the internal IT organization and have a everyday life where stable operation goes hand in hand with development and new projects.

You will get close to both the technology and the colleagues who use it. And because we are internal IT, you will have the opportunity to follow the solutions all the way from a challenge arising to it being solved and functioning in everyday life.

You will have your own areas of responsibility

The Operations team currently consists of seven colleagues who together are responsible for stable operation and for getting the most out of the systems we already have.

As an IT consultant, your primary focus will be our Modern Workplace solutions. You will have independent areas of responsibility, but you will not be alone with them. We collaborate across IT and share our knowledge when needed.

A part of everyday life is 2nd line support, where you, together with our 1st line, solve the challenges that require a bit more technical heft. But the role contains more than tickets. You will also be involved in projects and have the opportunity to help improve our solutions.

Your tasks will include, among other things

• Work with administration and technical responsibility for Microsoft 365, Intune, SCCM, Citrix and Windows 11
• Handle 2nd line tasks and troubleshooting in collaboration with 1st line
• Keep our systems updated and ensure the solutions function stably
• Participate in both smaller tasks and larger IT projects across the group
• Document solutions and prepare guides so knowledge isn’t only in the head of the person who solved the problem
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our Modern Workplace

Your base will be our headquarters in Kolding, but Nic. Christiansen Gruppen has activities in several places, and you will therefore also have tasks related to our colleagues in Denmark and Germany.

We are not looking for someone who can do everything

You already have experience with Microsoft’s universe and have probably worked with Microsoft 365, Intune and Windows 11. Perhaps you come from a similar internal IT function, or perhaps you currently work at an IT provider and want to get closer to one business.

We do not expect you to be an expert in all technologies from day one. It is more important that you have a solid technical foundation and a desire to dig into a challenge when the solution isn’t immediately obvious.

You work in a structured way and take responsibility for your tasks. At the same time, you know when it makes sense to bring in a colleague.

IT security is a natural part of the way you think about solutions, and you can communicate with both technical colleagues and users who simply want their workday to work.

Since we work across countries, you must also be able to communicate in English.
