IT student for our AI team

Would you like to work in a law firm where AI is not just a pilot project, but an integral part of everyday life? And would you help develop solutions that streamline legal and administrative workflows and create value for our clients? Then you may be our new IT student.

The Job

AI has for several years played a central and dedicated role at Bruun & Hjejle. We have solid experience in creating real value in legal work and focus on solutions that work in practice. In the AI team you will become part of a larger IT team of 13 dedicated colleagues.

Your tasks will include mapping workflows at both lawyers and administrative functions and translating them into concrete AI solutions, as well as building AI agents, workflows and tools in Harvey and other AI solutions. You will also contribute to the development of new AI products and work closely with our AI providers to test new features and implement them in the business.

At the same time you will act as a sparring partner for colleagues across the firm when there are questions about AI, and you will help run internal courses and communicate news. A part of everyday life is also practical and operation-focused, including the daily operation of Harvey and our other AI tools. This is where you learn both the tools and the business from the inside. Depending on your profile and interests, you can also contribute to several digital tools and projects.

We place emphasis on everyone contributing to developing ideas and bringing them to life, regardless of experience and seniority. We work in sprints together with business development, and take time to celebrate successes together. In daily life you will work closely with an experienced colleague and another student, where tasks are distributed based on competencies and interests. You will therefore have the opportunity to shape your own role.

The working hours are about 15 hours per week, with flexible frameworks so that the working hours can be arranged around your studies. During holidays and exam periods we take care to give you time to focus on your studies.

About you

We are looking for you who are motivated to work with AI. You may be the technician with business understanding or the lawyer with technical flair. Your study program is not decisive, but we imagine that you are at least on the 3rd semester. Perhaps you study at ITU or DTU, or perhaps you study a more business-oriented or legal education with a technical angle at CBS or KU.

We do not expect you to know it all from the start, but that you are curious, motivated and eager to understand a problem in depth and develop a solution that makes a real difference. We imagine that you:

• actively use AI and are curious about what the technology can do when used correctly
• want to analyze workflows, describe them and identify where AI can make a difference
• are curious about the technology behind the tools, even when it becomes complex
• communicate clearly and can explain technology so it is easy to understand
• thrive in a professional environment with high demands on thoroughness and quality
• take ownership, follow up and know when to seek sparring
• master Danish and English at a high level, both written and spoken

Experience with process descriptions, automation or development of agents is a clear advantage, but not a requirement.
