About the job
Danish School Association for Southern Schleswig e. V. is seeking an IT Supporter for the IT Office with start date on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Are you our new colleague?
We are looking for a skilled colleague with a hands-on mentality as an IT Supporter with warehouse affiliation to the School Association's Central Administration.
You will play a central role in the daily support of the organization's IT operations through service and support at the IT Office and in the administration.
Your tasks
You will, among other things, be working with
- Installation of equipment in the Central Administration
- Warehouse management, including registrations, preparation, distributions, etc.
- Installation, implementation and troubleshooting on Windows clients
- Disposal, scrapping and documentation of defective hardware
- Handling of warranty cases
- Access point management, including registration, issuing and documentation
In addition, you will have close collaboration with our field service, where you help prepare equipment for the institutions.
We expect that you
- speak, write and read Danish at least at B level (the working language and the systems are in Danish)
- have a sharp technical understanding. You may have an IT education, but you can also be a skilled self-taught person or a career changer with plenty of drive and a desire to dive into the tasks
- work in a structured way and be able to maintain an overview and prioritization when handling many parallel tasks
- can work independently and solution-oriented and have a good sense of what needs to be done
- have strong communication skills, be service-minded and motivated to help others
Your upcoming workplace
The IT department consists of just under 40 employees who support about 1,850 colleagues at around 100 locations. The tasks span system operation, network infrastructure, software maintenance, telephony, user support and IT security.
We work in a dynamic IT environment with a focus on stable operation, collaboration and long-term technological development. Emphasis is placed on professional development and good working conditions.
Our shared goal
Although we in the IT Office rarely meet the children in day care centers or students in schools, they are what our work is ultimately about. We ensure that the School Association's employees have the technical and administrative framework they need – so they can focus on their core task: to promote children's learning, well-being and cultural upbringing.
IT Office helps create the best possible prerequisites for the entire organization to function – from the educators and teachers to the administration and management. We support operations, solve problems and find solutions that make everyday life run smoothly and efficiently – and we actively contribute to making both learning and workflows as well-functioning and digital as possible.
We offer
You will become part of a professionally strong and engaged IT Office with informal collaboration from management to the technician and back.
Additionally
- Part-time employment with 23 hours per week
- Design your own working week: Your 23 hours can be arranged flexibly so the job fits your everyday life – whether you study, have a family or pursue a great passion
- 30 days of vacation (31 from 2027): December 24 and December 31 are also extra days off
- Bicycle leasing
- Contribution to private pension savings
- Further education
- Active staff association

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with TVÖD VKA EG9b.
